- On 14 October 2025 in New Delhi, Google announced an AI Hub in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, with about US$ 15 billion over 2026–2030 — its largest investment in India, including India's first gigawatt-scale data centre.
- The Ministry of Mines said on 14 October 2025 that, by a gazette notification of 10 October 2025, all limestone is now a major mineral, removing the minor-mineral category for limestone used in kilns to make lime for building.
- The Department of Posts announced on 14 October 2025 that all categories of international postal services to the USA would resume from 15 October 2025, using a Delivery Duty Paid mechanism to meet new US customs rules.
- India's annual inflation based on the Wholesale Price Index was 0.13% (provisional) in September 2025, with WPI food index inflation falling to (-)1.99%, DPIIT said on 14 October 2025.

- India's retail inflation based on the All India Consumer Price Index fell to 1.54% in September 2025, the lowest since June 2017, with food inflation at -2.28%, MoSPI said on 13 October 2025.
- MoSPI said on 13 October 2025 that the National Household Income Survey, India's first pan-India survey measuring household income, will be launched in February 2026, and released its pre-testing report and draft questionnaire for feedback.
- On 13 October 2025 in Jaipur, Rajasthan, Home Minister Amit Shah performed the ground-breaking for investment proposals worth ₹4 lakh crore and inaugurated a state-level exhibition on the three new criminal laws.

- On 10 October 2025 NITI Aayog released a 'Roadmap for Job Creation in the AI Economy', saying India's tech services sector could create up to 4 million new jobs in five years and recommending a National AI Talent Mission.
- On 10 October 2025, at Day 1 of the G20 Trade & Investment Ministers' Meeting in Gqeberha, South Africa, MoS Jitin Prasada called for restoring a two-tier WTO dispute settlement system with a working appellate body and held bilateral meetings.
- A PIB explainer on 10 October 2025 said the recent GST cuts will benefit Manipur's handloom (2.5 lakh weavers), crafts, food processing, dairy and coffee sectors, with handloom fabrics cut from 12% to 5% and packaged coffee from 18% to 5%.

- On 9 October 2025 the Ministry of Textiles notified amendments to the PLI scheme for MMF apparel, MMF fabrics and technical textiles, halving minimum investment to ₹150 crore (Part-1) and ₹50 crore (Part-2) and cutting the incremental turnover condition from 25% to 10%.
- On 9 October 2025 the combined assets under management of the National Pension System and Atal Pension Yojana crossed ₹16 lakh crore, with the subscriber base surpassing 9 crore, PFRDA said.
