Textiles Ministry approves 17 new applicants under PLI Scheme in Round 3

The Ministry of Textiles approved 17 new applicants under the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) Scheme for Textiles in Round 3 of selection, it said on 18 November 2025.

The 17 new PLI applicants for textiles have committed ₹2,374 crore of investment, with projected sales of over ₹12,893 crore and employment for about 22,646 people, in MMF apparel, MMF fabrics and technical textiles. The PLI Scheme for Textiles was notified on 24 September 2021 with an outlay of ₹10,683 crore, and 74 applicants were approved in the first two rounds. After recent amendments, the application portal has been reopened until 31 December 2025.
