- The National Highways Authority of India built 5,614 km of national highways in FY 2024-25 against a target of 5,150 km, and its capital expenditure reached an all-time high of over ₹2.5 lakh crore, the Road Transport Ministry said on 2 April 2025.
- Indian Railways produced a record 1,681 locomotives in FY 2024-25, 19% more than the 1,472 of the previous year, the Railway Ministry said on 2 April 2025.
- MOIL recorded its best-ever financial year in FY 2024-25 with record manganese ore production of 18.02 lakh tonnes, 2.7% higher year on year, the Steel Ministry said on 2 April 2025.

- India's defence exports rose 12.04% to a record ₹23,622 crore in the financial year 2024-25 that ended on 31 March 2025, the Defence Ministry said on 1 April 2025.
- India's cumulative coal production crossed the one billion tonne mark in FY 2024-25, reaching a provisional 1,047.57 million tonnes, the Coal Ministry said on 1 April 2025.
- India added an unprecedented 25 GW of renewable energy capacity in FY 2024-25, nearly 35% more than the 18.57 GW added a year earlier, the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy said on 1 April 2025.
- Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman launched the NITI NCAER States Economic Forum portal, a repository of about 30 years of data on state finances, in New Delhi on 1 April 2025.
- More than one million electric vehicles were sold in India in FY 2024-25, the Ministry of Heavy Industries said on 1 April 2025, with electric two-wheeler sales up 21% to 11,49,334 units.
