- Raksha Mantri Rajnath Singh approved a 100% increase in financial assistance for ex-servicemen and their dependents under Kendriya Sainik Board schemes, doubling the penury grant to Rs 8,000 a month from 1 November 2025 (PIB, 15 October 2025).
- The PLFS Monthly Bulletin for September 2025 showed labour force participation at a five-month high of 55.3%, female participation at 34.1% and unemployment up slightly to 5.2% (PIB, 15 October 2025).
- DRDO's indigenous Military Combat Parachute System (MCPS) successfully completed a combat freefall jump from 32,000 feet by Indian Air Force test jumpers (PIB, 15 October 2025).
- India's total exports of goods and services in April–September 2025 were estimated at US$ 413.30 billion, up 4.45% from US$ 395.71 billion a year earlier, the Commerce Ministry said on 15 October 2025.

- On 14 October 2025 in New Delhi, PM Narendra Modi held talks with Mongolian President Khurelsukh Ukhnaa, on a state visit marking 70 years of diplomatic ties and 10 years of Strategic Partnership; India announced free e-visas for Mongolians.
- The Ministry of Mines said on 14 October 2025 that, by a gazette notification of 10 October 2025, all limestone is now a major mineral, removing the minor-mineral category for limestone used in kilns to make lime for building.
- The Department of Posts announced on 14 October 2025 that all categories of international postal services to the USA would resume from 15 October 2025, using a Delivery Duty Paid mechanism to meet new US customs rules.
- India's annual inflation based on the Wholesale Price Index was 0.13% (provisional) in September 2025, with WPI food index inflation falling to (-)1.99%, DPIIT said on 14 October 2025.

- India's retail inflation based on the All India Consumer Price Index fell to 1.54% in September 2025, the lowest since June 2017, with food inflation at -2.28%, MoSPI said on 13 October 2025.
- MoSPI said on 13 October 2025 that the National Household Income Survey, India's first pan-India survey measuring household income, will be launched in February 2026, and released its pre-testing report and draft questionnaire for feedback.
- Marking four years of the PM GatiShakti National Master Plan on 13 October 2025 in New Delhi, Piyush Goyal launched 'PM GatiShakti – Offshore', the 'PM GatiShakti Public' platform and the roll-out of District Master Plans to all 112 Aspirational Districts.
