- The Ministry of Home Affairs said on 15 October 2025 that the districts most affected by Left Wing Extremism have fallen from 6 to 3 — Bijapur, Sukma and Narayanpur in Chhattisgarh — and LWE-affected districts from 18 to 11.
- The Executive Board of Commonwealth Sport recommended Ahmedabad, Gujarat, as the proposed host city for the 2030 Centenary Commonwealth Games; the recommendation goes to the General Assembly on 26 November 2025 (PIB, 15 October 2025).
