- On 7 October 2025 the Health Ministry said clinicians at the Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences, New Delhi, successfully fitted an indigenously developed customised Temporo-Mandibular Joint (TMJ) implant in four patients; the implant was developed at ICMR's mPRAGATI facility at IIT Delhi.
