The Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DOT) signed an MoU with the Andhra Pradesh Government on 18 November 2025 to participate in the Amaravati Quantum Valley (AQV) initiative.
Summary
Under the MoU with Andhra Pradesh, C-DOT — the telecom R&D centre of the Department of Telecommunications — proposes to set up a Centre of Excellence in Quantum Communication and Security Solutions, along with privacy enhancement technologies, at Amaravati Quantum Valley. AQV aims to build an integrated quantum ecosystem covering hardware manufacturing, software, talent and research. C-DOT has already installed its quantum security solutions at academic institutes, government R&D labs and live networks.
