- On 28 July 2026 the Haryana Cabinet chaired by CM Nayab Singh Saini approved a 100% motor vehicle tax exemption on new electric two-, three- and four-wheelers costing up to Rs 30 lakh, and 50% for costlier EVs.
- On 28 July 2026 the Delhi Cabinet chaired by CM Rekha Gupta approved the Delhi Lakshmi Yojana, under which eligible women will get Rs 2,500 a month; the application portal opens on 1 August and the first instalment is targeted for Raksha Bandhan (28 August).

- The Meghalaya Cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma, approved the Meghalaya Electric Vehicle Policy 2026 on 27 July 2026, offering EV buyers an incentive of ₹25,000 and a full waiver of registration fees.
- Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel launched the Gujarat Shipbuilding and Repair Policy 2026 in Gandhinagar on 27 July 2026, targeting over ₹27,000 crore of investment and more than 50 lakh DWT of shipbuilding capacity.
- On 27 July 2026, Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said Maharashtra is the first State to become eligible for the second instalment under the Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana (RKVY), after using over 75% of the first ₹335 crore.
