Amit Shah launches 'Vanitham She-Mart' shops and NCCF's 'Janah' products in Kollam, Keralam

On 26 September 2026 Union Cooperation Minister Amit Shah inaugurated 'Vanitham She-Mart' shops and launched the sale of NCCF's 'Janah' products in Kollam to link women SHGs and rural women entrepreneurs directly with markets.

Shah said She-Mart is being launched from Keralam, which has more than 23,000 active cooperative societies. Along with NCCF's more than 2,500 retail outlets, over 300 She-Marts will be opened across Keralam, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. He said women's labour-force participation has risen from 23% in 2014-15 to 40%, bank accounts of 36 crore women have been opened, and 3 crore women have become Lakhpati Didis, with a target of 6 crore by 2029.
