- The National Highways Authority of India said on 3 April 2025 that it has signed a concession agreement for the 121-km Guwahati Ring Road, to be built at ₹5,729 crore on Build Operate Toll mode with zero grant.
- Indian Railways manufactured a record 7,134 coaches in FY 2024-25, 9% more than the 6,541 of the previous year, with the Integral Coach Factory in Chennai rolling out 3,007, the Railway Ministry said on 3 April 2025.

- India's cumulative coal production crossed the one billion tonne mark in FY 2024-25, reaching a provisional 1,047.57 million tonnes, the Coal Ministry said on 1 April 2025.
- India added an unprecedented 25 GW of renewable energy capacity in FY 2024-25, nearly 35% more than the 18.57 GW added a year earlier, the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy said on 1 April 2025.
- The Border Roads Organisation reopened Zojila Pass, which links the Kashmir Valley to Ladakh, on 1 April 2025 after a closure of only 32 days.
- More than one million electric vehicles were sold in India in FY 2024-25, the Ministry of Heavy Industries said on 1 April 2025, with electric two-wheeler sales up 21% to 11,49,334 units.
