The Agra–Gwalior Greenfield Expressway (NH-719D), an 88 km six-lane access-controlled road, will be built by G.R. Infraprojects Ltd under a concession agreement signed with the National Highways Authority of India on 30 April 2025, on Build-Operate-Transfer (Toll) mode. It will start at Deori village in Agra and end at Susera village in Gwalior, passing through Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. The concession period is 20 years, including 30 months of construction. As the route crosses the National Chambal Sanctuary, a cable-stayed bridge on the Chambal is planned to protect the gharial, along with sound barriers and light cutters.
