High-Level Committee approves ₹707.97 crore NDRF aid to Assam and Gujarat for 2024 floods; ₹903.67 crore for fire services in three states
On 7 October 2025 a High-Level Committee chaired by Home Minister Amit Shah approved ₹707.97 crore of additional central assistance from the NDRF to Assam and Gujarat for 2024 floods and landslides, and ₹903.67 crore for fire services in Haryana, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan.
