India and ADB sign loans of over $800 million for Maharashtra, Indore Metro and Gujarat, plus Assam grant

On 28 November 2025 India and the Asian Development Bank signed three loans worth over $800 million — for Maharashtra agricultural solarisation, Indore Metro Rail and Gujarat skills — and a $1 million technical assistance grant for Assam's SWIFT project.
