- The Government of India and JICA signed six loan agreements worth JPY 191.736 billion in New Delhi on 27 March 2025 under Japan's Official Development Assistance, covering projects in Tamil Nadu, Delhi, Assam and Punjab.
- The Finance Ministry said on 27 March 2025 that the Centre will borrow ₹8 lakh crore through dated securities in April–September 2025, 54% of the ₹14.82 lakh crore gross borrowing budgeted for 2025-26.

- The Ministry of Defence signed contracts worth about ₹6,900 crore in New Delhi on 26 March 2025 for 155mm/52 calibre Advanced Towed Artillery Gun Systems from Bharat Forge and 6x6 gun-towing vehicles from Tata Advanced Systems.
- The third session of the India–Uganda Joint Trade Committee was held in New Delhi on 25–26 March 2025, the first in 23 years, and agreed to explore MoUs and a Joint Business Forum.
- Raksha Rajya Mantri Sanjay Seth flagged off joint expeditions to Mount Everest and Mount Kangchenjunga from South Block, New Delhi, on 26 March 2025.

- The Rajya Sabha passed the Disaster Management (Amendment) Bill, 2024 on 25 March 2025 after a reply by Home Minister Amit Shah, completing its passage through Parliament.
- The Lok Sabha passed the Finance Bill, 2025 on 25 March 2025 with 35 government amendments, including one abolishing the 6% equalisation levy on online advertisements.
- India and Singapore signed a Letter of Intent on maritime digitalisation and decarbonisation in Singapore on 25 March 2025, in the presence of Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal.
- Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal introduced the Boilers Bill, 2024 in the Lok Sabha on 25 March 2025 to repeal the century-old Boilers Act, 1923 and decriminalise three of its seven offences.
