India and Singapore signed a Letter of Intent on maritime digitalisation and decarbonisation in Singapore on 25 March 2025, in the presence of Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal.

India and Singapore signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) on maritime digitalisation (Digital Corridor Collaboration) and decarbonisation (Green Shipping) in Singapore on 25 March 2025. Union Ports, Shipping and Waterways Minister Sarbananda Sonowal and Singapore's Senior Minister of State Dr Amy Khor attended the signing. The LOI was signed by R Lakshmanan, Joint Secretary, MoPSW, and Teo Eng Dih, Chief Executive of the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore. The two sides will work towards a memorandum of understanding on a Singapore-India Green and Digital Shipping Corridor (GDSC) to speed up zero or near-zero emission technologies and digital solutions. Sonowal also inaugurated the India Pavilion at Singapore Maritime Week.
