- India successfully test-fired the medium range ballistic missile Agni-4 from the Integrated Test Range, Chandipur, Odisha, on 6 August 2026 under the Strategic Forces Command.
- The Ministry of Tribal Affairs signed MoUs with state and technology business incubators in New Delhi on 6 August 2026 to reach about 1,000 Scheduled Tribe entrepreneurs, with at least 100 to be funded and incubated under VCF-ST.
