The 4th edition of Exercise Samudra Laksamana between the Indian Navy and the Royal Malaysian Navy was held at Lumut, Malaysia, from 9 to 12 September 2026, with INS Mysore taking part as part of an operational deployment. The harbour phase included professional exchanges, and in the sea phase INS Mysore exercised with Malaysian ships KD Lekir and KD Gagah Samudera to improve interoperability. The exercise followed the 12th India–Malaysia Sub Committee Meeting held on 1 July 2026. The previous, 3rd edition was held from 28 February to 2 March 2024 at and off Visakhapatnam with INS Kiltan and KD Lekir.
