- The Union Government released the second instalment of XV Finance Commission untied grants for 2024-25 to rural local bodies in Karnataka (₹404.97 crore) and Tripura (₹31.13 crore), the Ministry of Panchayati Raj said on 27 March 2025.
- The President appointed four advocates as judges of the Rajasthan High Court, made three additional judges of the Punjab and Haryana High Court permanent, and gave three Chhattisgarh High Court additional judges a fresh one-year term, the Law Ministry said on 27 March 2025.
