• The Ministry of Labour and Employment announced the Employees' Enrolment Scheme 2025 on 13 October 2025, letting employers enrol workers who joined between 1 July 2017 and 31 October 2025 but were left out of EPF, with a nominal Rs 100 penalty; it runs from 1 November 2025 to 30 April 2026.

• The Mission for Aatmanirbharta in Pulses, launched by PM Modi at IARI, New Delhi, on 11 October 2025 with ₹11,440 crore for 2025–26 to 2030–31, aims for 350 lakh tonnes of pulses from 310 lakh hectares by 2030–31.
