Telangana Agriculture Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao announced at a Rabi plan meeting in Hyderabad on 15 December 2025 that the state would introduce a mobile app for farmers to book urea, on an experimental basis from 20 December. The Telangana urea booking app lets farmers book urea from home with a dealer of their choice within the district, see the stock position, and collect the bags against a booking ID, so that they need not queue at fertiliser shops. Farmers without pattadar passbooks, such as tenants, can book urea with their Aadhaar numbers.
