- India's total exports of goods and services in April–June 2026-27 were estimated at US$ 232.73 billion, up 11.37% from a year earlier, the Commerce Ministry said on 13 July 2026.

- The Ministry of Coal's Nominated Authority opened bids on 10 July 2026 for the 15th round of commercial coal block auctions, receiving 21 bids for 8 of 23 blocks on offer.

- The Department of Consumer Affairs amended the Legal Metrology (General) Rules, 2011 (announced 6 July 2026), cutting the standard weights needed to verify instruments of one tonne and above from 50% to 20% of capacity after a repeatability test.
- Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal urged the leather and footwear industry on 6 July 2026 in New Delhi to target at least USD 15 billion in exports in five to six years, and said the India–UK FTA comes into force on 15 July.

- The Department of Fertilizers said on 5 July 2026 that 15 vessels carrying fertilisers and raw materials for India had safely crossed the Strait of Hormuz, and that urea output in April-June 2026 reached 71.55 LMT against a target of 67.86 LMT.
