The Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) and the Government of Tripura organised an International Organic Buyer-Seller Meet in Agartala, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry said on 14 August 2026. Around 200 participants attended, including more than 20 international buyers from countries such as Australia, New Zealand, Germany, Italy, Greece and Argentina, along with 27 exporters and 96 farmers from 22 FPOs. Stalls showcased Tripura's Queen Pineapple, GI-tagged Kalikhasa rice, organic ginger and turmeric, black sesame and scented lemon. The Tripura State Organic Farming Development Agency (TSOFDA) co-organised the event.
