The 12th session of the India–Russia Working Group on Modernization and Industrial Cooperation, under the bilateral Intergovernmental Commission, was held at Vanijya Bhawan, New Delhi, on 7 August 2026. DPIIT Secretary Amardeep Singh Bhatia and Russia's Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Alexey Gruzdev co-chaired it. The talks covered rare earths and critical minerals, fertilisers, aluminium and a joint venture for urea production. New areas included the Vande Bharat train project, signalling equipment, UAVs, 3-D printing and production of the Russian regional aircraft SJ-100.
