- On 6 October 2025 at the FRI campus, Dehradun, Environment Minister Bhupender Yadav led Wildlife Week 2025 celebrations on the theme 'Human-Wildlife Coexistence' and launched five national projects including Project Sloth Bear, Project Gharial and a Centre of Excellence on human–wildlife conflict at SACON.
