The Fourth Kautilya Economic Conclave (KEC 2025), organised in New Delhi by the Institute of Economic Growth (IEG) in partnership with the Ministry of Finance on the theme 'Seeking Prosperity in Turbulent Times', concluded on 5 October 2025 (PIB, 6 October 2025). Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman inaugurated it on 3 October, saying India's rise as a stabilising force rests on fiscal consolidation, better capital spending and inflation control, with growth anchored in domestic factors. Sessions covered macroeconomic resilience, digital public infrastructure, trade fragmentation, regulatory reform, sustainable finance and demography. Former ECB President Jean-Claude Trichet spoke on 'What Europe Can Learn from the Indian Federation', Communications Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia on emerging technologies, and RBI Governor Sanjay Malhotra also took part. External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar gave the closing address. The conclave has been held since 2022.
