๐ Verified CGL 2026 facts (official Notice)
- Tier 1: 100 questions ยท 200 marks ยท 60 minutes (15-minute timer per section) ยท โ0.50 per wrong answer ยท for shortlisting only.
- Tier 2 Paper I (all posts): Maths 30 + Reasoning 30 + English 45 + GA 25 (3 marks each, โ1) + Computer 20 (qualifying) + DEST (qualifying). Final merit from Tier 2 only.
- Paper II Statistics (JSO, SI Gr-II) and Paper III Finance & Economics (AAO, AAccO): 100 questions ยท 200 marks ยท 2 hours ยท โ0.50.
- Tier 1 exam 30 Sep โ 30 Oct 2026; Tier 2 December 2026 (tentative). Vacancies: ~12,256 in the Notice, 10,731 in the tentative list (24.09.2026).
