The Commerce Ministry told the Lok Sabha on 5 August 2025 that 293 infrastructure projects worth ₹13.59 lakh crore have been evaluated through the Network Planning Group mechanism under the PM GatiShakti National Master Plan.

The PM GatiShakti National Master Plan (PMGS NMP), launched in October 2021, has evaluated 293 infrastructure projects amounting to ₹13.59 lakh crore through the Network Planning Group (NPG) mechanism, Minister of State for Commerce and Industry Jitin Prasada said in a written Lok Sabha reply on 5 August 2025. As on date, 57 Central Ministries/Departments (8 Infrastructure, 22 Social and 27 Economic & other) and 36 States/UTs have been onboarded on the platform, and about 1,700 data layers (969 from States/UTs and 731 from Central Ministries) have been integrated. The NMP has no specific or separate fund allocation, though the Department of Expenditure provided ₹5,000 crore under Part-II of the Scheme for Special Assistance to States for Capital Investment for 2022-23 for PMGS-related infrastructure.
