PCIM&H and Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission renew MoU for 'One Herb, One Standard'

The Pharmacopoeia Commission for Indian Medicine & Homoeopathy (PCIM&H) under the Ministry of Ayush and the Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission (IPC) under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare renewed their MoU for the 'One Herb, One Standard' initiative in New Delhi on 12 August 2026. The renewed three-year framework builds on 50 monographs developed in the first phase and aims at harmonised scientific standards for medicinal plants. Ayush Minister Prataprao Jadhav said the initiative will strengthen the quality and credibility of traditional medicines across Ayurveda, Siddha, Sowa-Rigpa, Unani and Homoeopathy.
