The Ministry of Labour and Employment signed Memoranda of Understanding with Porter and Gigin Technologies on 13 April 2026 to expand employment opportunities and digital job matching through the National Career Service (NCS) portal, in the presence of Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya and Labour Secretary Vandana Gurnani. Porter aims to create over 30 lakh logistics and driving opportunities by 2030, and Gigin aims to enable 2–3 lakh verified job opportunities a year with over 1.5 lakh employer engagements via NCS. Mandaviya said over 7 lakh vacancies are active on the portal and nearly 59 lakh establishments are registered, and noted its integration with e-Migrate, SIDH and MY Bharat and with state portals.
