At the 10th Conference of Parties (COP10) to the International Convention against Doping in Sport, held at UNESCO headquarters in Paris from 20 to 22 October 2025, India was re-elected Vice-Chairperson of the Bureau for the Asia-Pacific group (Group IV) for 2025–2027. Azerbaijan was elected Chair, and Brazil, Zambia and Saudi Arabia were elected Vice-Chairs for their regions. The meeting marked the Convention's 20th anniversary; it is the only legally binding international instrument against doping in sport. Sports Secretary Hari Ranjan Rao and National Anti-Doping Agency Director General Anant Kumar represented India.
