CBIC launches ICEGATE–LPMS integration at ICP Agartala

CBIC Special Secretary and Member (Customs) Surjit Bhujabal inaugurated the integration of the Indian Customs Electronic Gateway with the Land Port Management System (ICEGATE–LPMS) at the Integrated Check Post, Agartala, Tripura on 12 January 2026.

The Indian Customs Electronic Gateway–Land Port Management System (ICEGATE–LPMS) integration went live at the Integrated Check Post (ICP), Agartala, Tripura, on 12 January 2026, inaugurated by Surjit Bhujabal, Special Secretary and Member (Customs), Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC). The integration enables real-time, two-way data exchange between ICEGATE and the land port system, bringing the efficiencies already achieved at seaports, airports and inland container depots to land ports. It is meant to speed up clearance of goods and automate import and export workflows.
