e-Jagriti consumer grievance portal crosses 2.75 lakh users in 2025

The Department of Consumer Affairs said on 16 November 2025 that its e-Jagriti online consumer grievance platform, launched on 1 January 2025, has over 2.75 lakh registered users, including 1,388 NRIs.

Summary

As of 13 November 2025, e-Jagriti had handled 1,30,550 case filings and disposed of 1,27,058 cases. The unified portal lets consumers, including NRIs abroad, register with an OTP, file complaints, pay fees, attend virtual hearings, exchange documents and track cases in real time without visiting a consumer commission. It offers an AI-powered multilingual interface with voice-to-text, a chatbot and dashboards to help elderly and differently-abled users.
