DoT's SAMPANN pension system makes pension documents available on DigiLocker

The Department of Telecommunications said on 5 January 2026 that pension documents of its pensioners issued through SAMPANN, such as ePPOs and Form 16, are now available on DigiLocker.

Summary

SAMPANN (System for Accounting and Management of Pension) is the integrated online pension management system of the Department of Telecommunications (DoT), which processes, sanctions and pays pension directly into pensioners' bank accounts and offers online grievance redressal. DoT said on 5 January 2026 that Gratuity Payment Orders, Pension Certificates/ePPOs, Pension Commutation Payment Orders and Form 16 are now available through DigiLocker. The DigiLocker link lets telecom retirees store and retrieve authentic documents anytime and supports paperless governance.
