₹10,520-crore Amended BharatNet agreement signed for Maharashtra
On 1 October 2026 Digital Bharat Nidhi (DoT) signed an agreement with the Maharashtra government, MDIL, BSNL and MahaIT to roll out the Amended BharatNet Program in Maharashtra under the State-led model, with ₹10,520 crore support covering 28,237 gram panchayats.
