Assam cabinet raises ASHA honorarium to ₹4,000 and supervisors' to ₹10,200 from 1 October
On 10 June 2025 in Guwahati, Assam, the state cabinet approved higher fixed monthly honorariums for ASHA workers and ASHA supervisors from 1 October 2025.

The Assam cabinet approved on 10 June 2025 a rise in the fixed monthly honorarium of Accredited Social Health Activist (ASHA) workers from ₹3,000 to ₹4,000 and of ASHA supervisors from ₹9,000 to ₹10,200, effective 1 October 2025. For ASHA workers, the Centre's share rises from ₹2,000 to ₹2,500 and the State's from ₹1,000 to ₹1,500. The cabinet also approved land allotment under Mission Basundhara in favour of 1,011 educational, religious and socio-cultural entities in Sonitpur, Golaghat, Majuli and Kamrup, land for 146 government institutions, and the renaming of the Pollution Control Board, Assam as the Assam Pollution Control Board.
