The 14th India–Bhutan Meeting on Border Management and Security was held in Thimphu, Bhutan, on 16–17 October 2025, as announced by the Home Ministry on 23 October. Dr. Rajendra Kumar, Secretary of the Department of Border Management, led India's side, and Bhutan's Home Secretary Sonam Wangyel led Bhutan's. India's team included the Sashastra Seema Bal, the Land Ports Authority of India and officials from Assam, West Bengal, Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh. They discussed mobile signal spillover, a roadmap for Integrated Check Posts, boundary pillar maintenance, cross-border movement and training for Bhutan's police. The previous meeting was in 2019.
