- Position from right = 27 − position from left.
- '5th to the right of the 10th from left' = 10 + 5 = 15th = O.
- '4th to the left of the 8th from right' = 12th from right = 15th from left = O.
💡 Memory Tip: Rule: same side (n from left, then m to the left) → subtract; opposite side (n from left, then m to the right) → add.
📌 2. Dictionary Order
- Compare the first letter; if equal, the second, then the third…
- A shorter word comes first if it is the start of a longer one: Car → Card → Care.
