Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI) ne 5 June 2025 ko New Delhi mein policy making ke liye alternate data sources aur frontier technologies ke use par ek national workshop ke dauran 'EnviStats India 2025: Environment Statistics' ka 8th issue release kiya. Publication ke mutabik 2013-14 se 2023-24 ke beech renewable sources se electricity generation 65,520 GWh se badhkar 2,25,835 GWh ho gaya, aur isi period mein inland fish production 61.36 lakh tonnes se badhkar 139.07 lakh tonnes ho gaya. National Statistics Office 2018 se Framework for the Development of Environment Statistics (FDES) 2013 ke anusaar EnviStats India publish kar raha hai, aur is saal ke issue ko component-wise restructure kiya gaya.
