The negative WPI inflation in November 2025 was mainly due to lower prices of food articles, mineral oils, crude petroleum and natural gas, basic metals and electricity. Month on month, the WPI rose 0.71% over October 2025; manufactured products carry 64.23% weight in the index (base year 2011–12).
