The World Health Organization (WHO), with the Ministry of Ayush and the Central Council for Research in Siddha (CCRS), held a two-day WHO External Expert Group Meeting on 24-25 July 2025 that concluded with recommendations on Siddha standards. Held in hybrid mode, the meeting worked on finalising the Draft WHO Technical Reports on Training and Practice in Siddha, with 16 international experts from 11 countries representing all six WHO regions. The sessions were facilitated by WHO's Traditional, Complementary and Integrative Medicine (TCI) Unit with support from the Government of India.
