New helpline 1515 for POSHAN and PMMVY from 1 November 2025
The Ministry of Women and Child Development announced that the new toll-free helpline 1515 for POSHAN and PMMVY will replace 14408 from 1 November 2025.

On 24 October 2025, the Ministry of Women and Child Development announced a new toll-free helpline number, 1515, for POSHAN and the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana (PMMVY). It goes live on 1 November 2025 and replaces the old number 14408, to make it easier to remember. During the transition, callers who cannot get through on 1515 can keep using 14408. The helpline remains a single point of contact for queries and support on both schemes.
