The Union Public Service Commission announced on 12 December 2025 that every Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) candidate will be allotted the examination centre of their choice for its examinations.

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) announced on 12 December 2025 that it will allot the 'Centre of Choice' to all Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) candidates for its examinations. Under the UPSC plan, once a centre reaches full capacity it will close for non-PwBD candidates but stay open to PwBD candidates, and the Commission will add capacity so that no PwBD candidate is denied the preferred centre. UPSC Chairman Dr Ajay Kumar said centres such as Delhi, Cuttack, Patna and Lucknow fill up very early.
