The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) released reports on 11 February 2025 on Independent Drive Tests conducted in November 2024 in five cities: Mysuru (Karnataka LSA), Dharamshala (Himachal Pradesh LSA), Chennai (Tamil Nadu LSA), Chandigarh (Punjab LSA) and Kolkata (Kolkata LSA). The tests measured voice and data quality of Airtel, BSNL/MTNL, Reliance Jio and Vodafone Idea, including call setup success rate, drop call rate, throughput and latency. The Mysuru test also covered the Mysuru–Malavalli highway.
