On 13 November 2024 in New Delhi, the 25th meeting of the South Asian Telecommunication Regulators' Council (SATRC-25), hosted by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), concluded after three days from 11 November. It was inaugurated on 11 November by Communications Minister Jyotiraditya M Scindia, in the presence of Minister of State Dr Pemmasani Chandra Sekhar. SATRC is an initiative under the Asia-Pacific Telecommunity (APT); its members are Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Iran, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. The agenda included a regulators' roundtable and regulatory-industry sessions.
