Fourth India-US Tiger Triumph HADR amphibious exercise opens at Visakhapatnam

Tiger TRIUMPH 2025, the fourth edition of the bilateral India-US Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) amphibious exercise, opened with a ceremony onboard the Indian Navy's INS Jalashwa (L41) on 1 April 2025. The harbour phase runs at Visakhapatnam from 1 to 7 April and the sea phase from 8 to 12 April, ending with a joint humanitarian relief and medical camp after an amphibious landing at Kakinada. Indian participants include INS Jalashwa, the destroyer INS Mumbai and the fleet tanker INS Shakti, an Army infantry battalion group and special forces from all three services, while the Indian Air Force will showcase the air-portable BHISMA medical equipment. The US Task Force includes the dock landing ship USS Comstock with Marines of the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit and the destroyer USS Ralph Johnson.
