The Ministry of Railways introduced 'SwaRail', a SuperApp developed by CRIS that brings Indian Railways' public services into one platform, for beta testing on 31 January 2025.

The Ministry of Railways introduced the 'SwaRail' SuperApp for beta testing on 31 January 2025, offering reserved, unreserved and platform ticket booking, PNR and train status enquiries, food orders, parcel and freight enquiries and Rail Madad complaints in a single app. The SwaRail SuperApp was developed by the Centre for Railway Information Systems (CRIS) and integrates all public-facing apps of Indian Railways. SwaRail offers single sign-on, with the same credentials working on existing apps such as IRCTC RailConnect and UTS, and a public launch is planned after trials.
