The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports (MYAS) on 23 December 2025 launched the 'Comprehensive Internship Policy for MYAS and its Autonomous Bodies', under which 452 internships will be offered every year to college and university students. The internships will be spread across the Ministry, the Sports Authority of India (SAI), the National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA) and the National Dope Testing Laboratory (NDTL), covering more than 20 functional domains such as sports science, anti-doping and event management. Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said the policy aligns with the National Sports Policy, Khelo Bharat Niti 2025, and interns will contribute to schemes such as Khelo India and TOPS.
