On 5 October 2025 at its Central Workshop in Korba, Chhattisgarh, South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL), a Coal India Limited subsidiary, opened the company's first fully women-operated Central Store Unit under the Government's Special Campaign 5.0. The unit handles spare-parts supply and inventory on an SAP-based digital platform. It is run by a team of eight women officers and staff led by Senior Manager (E&M) Sapna Ikka, an IIT (ISM) Dhanbad alumna. SECL CMD Harish Duhan opened it.
