Rwanda invites India to Nuclear Energy Innovation Summit for Africa (NEISA 2026) in Kigali

On 9 May 2026 Rwanda's High Commissioner Jacqueline Mukangira conveyed to Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh an invitation to the Nuclear Energy Innovation Summit for Africa (NEISA 2026), to be held in Kigali from 18 to 21 May 2026.

Rwanda's High Commissioner to India, Jacqueline Mukangira, called on Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh on 9 May 2026 to convey the Rwandan President's invitation to the Nuclear Energy Innovation Summit for Africa (NEISA 2026), scheduled at the Kigali Convention Centre from 18 to 21 May 2026. The summit is organised with institutions including the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), the UN Economic Commission for Africa, the Nuclear Energy Agency and the World Nuclear Association. Dr Jitendra Singh said he could not travel but agreed to address a session virtually, and both sides discussed cooperation in atomic energy, AI and emerging technologies.
