The Ministry of Rural Development signed five Memorandums of Understanding on 21 September 2025 to strengthen interventions under the Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana–National Rural Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NRLM). The partners are the National Institute of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj (NIRD&PR), Hyderabad, and four National Resource Organisations: the State Rural Livelihoods Missions of Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand and Telangana. These states have been recognised for pioneering work in digitisation, and Bihar also leads in Food, Nutrition, Health and WASH interventions.
